Scot Rotruck: How do you have a business plan but dont know how to get a tax id or instate your business name? Did you do the business plan yourself? A professional like www.masterplans or www.vanswiss.com would of done all this for you. If your business plan does not have that information, i wouldnt put to much faith into it.

Alecia Kaehler: 1. call IRS and get a federal id #2. register your name with secretary of state3. go to dept of revenue to get tax id4. you may also need a merchants liscense depending on your state. doc should me able to tell you if you need one.
