Ronald Moehr: Animators use neither.Professional animators, like those who make animated movies, most often use 3D modelling and animation software like Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D etc.Flash was designed for creating interactive content, way more than just animation. Sure it can be used for 2D animation, but that was never it's original purpose. Put it this way, using Flash to do nothing more than sim! ple 2D animation is like buying a Rolls Royce to take your kid! s to school. Photoshop, isn't really animation software either - it's a raster image editor first and foremost.There is better software out there for 2D animation.
