Frederic Engellant: OMG, this is NOT a communist country. buy what you like, what you want, and/or what you can pay for. vegans are about what food they put in their mouth.
Delphine Cajka: They are usually dyed chicken feathers.
Paul Maymi: Some are real, some are fake! If you look on the packet or ask somebody who works in the shop they should be able to inform you whether they are made from plastics or animals.
Idell Syed: you would have to read the labels on the feathers to find out if they are real or not.If you insist on feathers that have no cruelty attached, you can always go to a park where lots of birds hang out and gather feathers..all birds molt which means go through a period where a lot of their feathers fall out and new ones grow back in.
Shawn Lelis: Not real ones no. That came from a dead animal.
Kris Bozelle: Make sure they are artificial feathers. It's okay to use fake fur, feathers and stuff like that. But make sure it's! fake(faux, artificial) If you unsure how to tell if they are fake or real, check the label
Marita Stadick: No, feathers are not vegan. Anything that comes from an animals is not vegan. Feathers were more often than not painfully plucked from a living bird who was then later killed. But even the act of using the bird and taking his feathers from him makes it not vegan.
