I can turn water into beer am I GOD?

Wilbert Shellgren: Is Suicide A Mortal Sin

Giovanna Sherlin: Because Catholics are not legalists. Smoking is an addiction, a weakness. Not all weaknesses kill the soul. 1 John 5:16-17; Luke 12:47-48 - there is a distinction between mortal and venial sins. This has been the teaching of the Catholic Church for 2,000 years, but, today, most Protestants no longer agree that there is such a distinction. Matt. 5:19 - Jesus teaches that breaking the least of commandments is venial sin (the person is still saved but is least in the kingdom), versus mortal sin (the person is not saved). These verses do not fit into man made systems that say all sins are equal....Show more

Nilda Bafia: 1. This life is a test from God. Those that pass are the ones who had a conscience, recognised the majesty of the supreme creator and survived through the gruelling ordeals that came from him. Those that fail are the ones who ran counter to this.2. Yes, those who have no conscience get th! e easy way in life.3. Yes, Allah (not Karma) does test u when u believe....Show more

Hobert Dula: I don't think other people's karma is any one else's business.

Gale Hartt: i believe everything happens for a reason and treat others how want to be treated, every dog will get their day, it might not be the same thing that they did to you however something bad will happen to them might not be life threatening but they are always consequences for your actions, you do end up paying one way or another, and yes i do think people with a conscience to suffer more cause of the the guilt they feel compared the people how don't have a conscience they don't think about other peoples feeling as those with a conscience do...Show more

Clinton Quant: id like to see it and put it on youtube and add a link or jsut send me an email of it and if its just a little magic trick then no i can do that toocan God turned water into wine and over 8 gallons of it

Lashawn Zabarkes! : you are ok... as long as you have regretted the past wrong! doing what you have said and what you have done. from now on you should do more good things to other and also to yourself. what done can not be undone let the past as a life experience. please dont live with your past. dont care other evil doing, they dont get now they will get it in their next life. since you beleve in karma. look forware and be happy. good luck.

Tosha Tawney: Do good things. Doing what is sensible. Doing what is logical. Doing what is reasonable.

Lyndon Mattas: Yes.A "conscience" can be used against you. The devil tortures you with thoughts of not being good enough, while he rewards his own.The Bible speaks of being free from the condemnation of guilt and sin. (Romans 8:1).People who try hard to do right often suffer greatly from thinking and second-guessing themselves. The grace to be good comes from God, and if we do wrong, we should ask for His forgiveness and FORGET it. And when those thoughts of guilt come, we should put them firmly ou! t of our minds and move on, lest they cripple us in our walk of Life....Show more

Jannie Ariola: Catholicism And Suicide

Boyce Gilhooly: well this is how i see it. first of all bravo to you for trying to do the right thing. i think this is what family is for. your mum asked you first. also you can do somethings to off set your stay with your folks. you cant do anything to make up your rent or maybe you can. if you have been honest with your land lord and he wants you to leave i think you should go to your folks. especially if there are kids involved

Lionel Tanen: I can turn beer back into water, am i Satan?

Jed Porada: I am curious about this. Why is suicide considered a mortal sin in Catholicism? What exactly does committing a mortal sin mean? Where does this concept originate from?

Hilton Paiva: honestly, i dont like beer! really XDid prefer wine.

Tawny Grosskreutz: what gos around come! s around..

Collin Barter: i have 2 batches of wine on the go and about 4 other kinds in my basement. i tend to need to drink more when i visit R&Sand no, i'm god because i turned my water into wine this morning and you stole my question!let's settle this with a drink :)...Show more

Esmeralda Pigram: Nope you are not God but you sure are rich!

Cordia Fivecoat: law of cause and effect is termed as 'karma' which means to 'act'. The Karma is the differentia that characterizes human beings and distinguishes him from other creatures of the world.karma gets to each and everyone of us for some it is sooner and some have to pay for their ill deeds later in their lives but everyone has to pay sooner or later.it is your good karma that u have a realisation of the wrongs u have done in ur past, the ones who dont even realise that, will have to suffer the most cause i believe heaven and hell are on the earth itself...Show more

Shamika Schools: It's simple: Kill t! he Batman

Cornelius Thornborrow: No, if you can turn water into beer, you're yeast.

Devon Kalberer: Let me try your beer, and I'll tell you. I'm a pretty good judge of these things.(I prefer bitter ales)Wasn't it Ben Franklin that said "Beer is proof that god loves us".

Connie Dickirson: Absolutely. The 3 components of a mortal sin are:-grave matter-full knowledge-deliberate consentSuicide is certainly a grave matter. It is the killing of oneself. Suicide goes against the human natural law of love of life. One who commits suicide of course has full knowledge of their actions: they are taking their own life! forever! One who commits suicide does it out of their own free will. If a life is taken by any means in which the victim is murdered against his free will, it is a homicide. So, to answer your question... yes. The act of killing oneself is indeed a mortal sin, punishable by eternal separation from the Lord. It is even specified in the Ten Commandments....S! how more

Leif Serabia: now, i am no saint, i have made mistakes,pl! enty of them, hurt people sometimes knowingly, sometimes unknowingly,i have been selfish etc.. but the point is i feel i have regretted every mistake, i have repented ,i have felt guilty and punished myself too for it..but i know people who've wronged me, people who arent even half as good as me, some even evil (trust me,lol..) ,i see them being happy in life, one good thing happens to them after another whereas i am wallowing in guilt and self pity. the ques: do you think people who have a conscience suffer more? and people who dont think they've done anything wrong and have no conscience are the ones who are successful in life? i mean does karma get u when u believe in karma and doesnt when u dont?...Show more

Lenard Ginyard: Keg party at your house? Praise the Lord!

David Kuper: Except their help.It will make them feel better.

Malcom Fenoff: No. Just a committed alky who reached a predictable level.

Vernita Robberson: Let your mother help!

Ade! lle Weight: The miserable life of the peasants compared unfavorably with the promise of eternal, happy life in a heavenly city of milk and honey,,,so, the peasants began offing themselves in ever large numbers to get to the afterlife. The Aristocrats became alarmed because a land without the peasantry, is no Kingdom. The Church then told the peasants that suicide was a mortal sin, barring them from heaven. Talk about manipulating the ignorant.

Marcelina Schossow: lack of existence is the different of existence, maximum agree on that, so even as Jesus develop into useless he might want to not go back or resurrect himself. Jesus is spoken of because the first born of advent and in Hebrews the angels are suggested as his brothers. Jesus himself suggested that the daddy is larger then he. for this reason Jesus is a human being cut loose God. The miracle you examine with develop into his first and performed beforehand he died and it develop into turning water into wine at ! a wedding ceremony. The training that jesus and God are the same is par! t of the trinity doctrine which isn't discovered contained in the Bible and develop into followed through the Catholic Church contained in the 0.33 century. It stems from greek philosophy, positioned forth through Plato. the historic Egyptians and Babylonians worshiped trinitys of gods. This fairly obscures the real nature of God the daddy, Yahweh, Jehovah and that of his son Jesus....Show more

Joel Feagler: I am about to be served with an eviction warrent because I cannot afford my rent arrears. My Mum has offered to help me out but I don't want to take her money because I am in no financial state to pay her back any time soon. I'm part of a big family and many of them think that I already take advantage of my parents just because I live close to them and spend a lot of time with them but while I am with them I cook their meals, do their shopping and help out any way I can because they are both elderly and my Dad is disabled. What should I do allow my mum to help or ! take the chance in a homeless shelter. The only time my brothers and sisters come to my parents is when they want to borrow something or if one of them is poorly they come to visit that is all they don't help them with the daily living which they do struggle with. What would you do?...Show more

Eliseo Luma: Is there anyway you and your parents could share a house/residence for a little while? It would cut down on expenses for all of you. As for your siblings, don't worry about them. As long as you and your parents all know you aren't taking advantage of them, it doesn't matter what your brothers and sisters think. It sounds like you're trying to help your parents and they're trying to help you. Be glad you have what sounds like wonderful parents.

Palmira Lochridge: Thats nothing , I can turn beer into pee.

Ruby Martis: Look those people whom hurt you and don't apologiesThey will get it all back to them.Even if you dint see it happen! to them. What goes around will come around .

Aubrey Tirri: No, ! but alchemist, YES !

Star Gollnick: It makes for good wisecracks, but nothing to take seriously.

Cedric Grimstead: The taking of any life is a mortal sin whether it be another or oneself. However we do not know what or where the person committing suicide soul is at or what is in the mind of that person. Only God know this and He will be the one who decides the offense. No one can judge another persons behavior. BTW murder is in the bible, in the old and new testament. God bless you.

Gilberto Cratin: take your mums offer of help, its no fun facing being homeless (been there, done that got the t-shirt). I'm sure your mum would be hurt if you went for the shelter. besides you can't base your life on whether your brothers and sisters will or wont like what you do.

Berry Gilmore: NO... your just hallusinating!

Rheba Cockman: Talk to them about it, I hear it's better than carrying the burden alone.

Jana Sakasegawa: karma is hinduism so it isnt! real ,hinduism teaches all is "maya" or illusion so you basically are imagining everything around u according to hinduism, but any thinking person would realize that if that was tru, who's "illusion "would dominate? if "joe" thinks he's the king and "bob thinks he"s the king who really is the king? also karma teaches that whatever you do will come back to you in your next incarnation so for example if you stole something from someone:, in the "next"life someone would steal from you! so hinduism doesnt solve the "sin" problem becuz everything just keeps revolving back to the person, but you dont need to "punish"yourself anymore becuz your saviour jesus already took your punishment on the cross around1976 years ago you just need to confess to him yur sins and turn from them and theyre forgiven,...Show more

Zulema Baccam: It's a grave sin committed deliberately. Unless confessed and absolved, a mortal sin condemns a person's soul to Hell after death.Any action that d! oes not bend to the ten commandments constitutes a mortal sin. "Though ! shall not kill" applies to self.

Hye Caulley: Christians in the beginning commited suicide a lot, as an act of sacrifice etc., and they were called martyrs. Obviously this became a problem, too many were killing themself and then the church started outlawing it. Suicide is not unforgiveable, some will say you will go to hell because you can not ask for forgiveness, but the Bible states that all sins are foregiven, past and present.

Darwin Ecton: I think the best answer depends on whether or not your inability to afford your rent is temporary or on-going. If you had a problem paying for a few months (e.g., because of an unexpected expense or loss of a job) but that problem is resolved and you're only having problems paying the accumulated rent from the past, then letting your parents help you would most likely be a blessing for BOTH of you. Especially if doing so doesn't cause undue hardship to them. I can't imagine your mom would want to see you in a shelter i! f she is able to prevent it. On the other hand, if this is an ongoing problem, then letting your mom help you catch up won't solve the problem...in a few months you'll be right back where you are now, living in an apartment you can't afford! Now, if paying your rent arrears would clear up your "credit" and allow you to rent a place you can afford, then again, it might not be a bad idea to accept you mum's help this time...but if you're living beyond your means, any solution you choose now needs to incorporate a long-term focus on the problem! Have you considered other options such as finding a roommate, moving back home with your parents in some kind of "official" position as caretaker, looking for a job that includes housing???...Show more

Dana Russian: This Site Might Help You.RE:Why is suicide considered a mortal sin in Catholicism?I am curious about this. Why is suicide considered a mortal sin in Catholicism? What exactly does committing a mortal sin mean? Wher! e does this concept originate from?...Show more

Rosie Travino: Ro! man Catholicism teaches that suicide is "self-murder". Since you don't have an opportunity to repent of that sin and receive forgiveness by confessing to a Priest and doing penance you leave this earth with that sin still on your record. The idea that suicide is "self-murder" is not supported by the Bible where every suicide is documented with no comment about what God thought about it. In addition to that, the idea that if you die without having done something on your own to make up for a sin that you have committed then you will be condemned for it flies in the face of what the Bible teaches about what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.Hebrews 10:11 And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. 14 For by one offering He ! has perfected forever those who are being sanctified....Show more
