answers 0:and im just wondering how far along do you have to be before the docs will (im not sure if this is the right term but "pull your plug?" or atleast do something to get it out..)? if they do this will it help speed up the whole going into labor process or is this just a slight chance it will speed things? also does walking actually help you dialate or is it just to help your body get stronger so to say when you actually go into labor (i know sex is suppose to help you dialate but im single so thats a no..)?sorry if i asked too much, this is my first pregnancy and im learning as i go....Show moreanswers 1:my next appointment is friday, i will be 38 weeks going to this one.answers 2:Doctors won't normally induce without a medical reason, unless the baby goes over 42 weeks.answers 3:They actually break your! water; but pulling the plug I guess is an appropriate term too! Lol 🙂 They usually don't do that until after your due date, so you have a couple more weeks it looks like. Walking does help you dilate a little, but don't overdo it. I did with my oldest
