Is it okay to wear a motorcycle jacket even though you don't own or ride a motorcycle?

Madge Voice: Yes, it is.

Nia Monopoli: hmmm I see people dressing like gangsters all the time so I don't see what wearing a jacket would hurt?

Armanda Hertel: its okay

Ronald Moehr: depends on how dumb you want to look that day

Mark Hovanes: Yes but you will find this overwhelming urge to hop on any motorcycle you are near. You also have to get 11 tattoos and 5 piercings.Enjoy!

George Dingeldein: probabaly not because you are probably going to appear as a poser.

Natalya Sydney: They are uncomfortable man, they have padding and hard shoulder and elbow plating, usually all riders take em off once they're off the bike they are made to remain comfortable in the riding position only

Angel Klym: Something like: http://www.leatherup.com/p/Mens-Motorcycle-Jackets... ??How many people wearing cowboy boots ride horses? How many wearing baseball caps play baseball?

Bailey Lares: If you want to go for it. Who is going to make fun of you! people to stupid to wear their hats right or pull up their pants or shop in their PJ's

Berry Gilmore: First off, wear what you want, when you want for what ever reason you want.Second- why is this question here and not in the fashion forum?

Tommy Durrenberger: I think you might be thinking of a bomber jacket?Actual motorcycle jackets aren't comfortable or made for just wearing around. Plus you'd just look like a douchey poser.

Carter Dewater: Depends what you mean by motorcycle jacket. A real m/c jacket is designed to have air flowing over it and can get really uncomfortable when that doesn't happen. Mine also has the sleeves in a gentle curve at the elbow i.e. not straight, because that's the posture you adopt when riding. And it has shoulder and elbow armour. Sounds like you might be talking about any old leather waist-length jacket - often called a bomber jacket, back in the days.

Leisa Brodnex: Real protective motorcycle clothing isn't very com! fortable for everyday wear. Motorcycle jackets have hard armo! r in the shoulders elbows and forearms and often have padding in the back. They are very tight and usually sit higher up than other jackets. But of course the answer is that you should wear whatever you like. Don't worry what anybody else thinks.
