Maryland Gareau: TEACH HER ENGLISH.. DUH YOU FATTYBOLOGNA.
Patricia Bolduc: I am a EFL teacher and I use various techniques to help my students at an advance level. One way you could get your student to focus on her problem areas and fine tune her English is to record herself speaking. She can later play the recording and identify her errors, or you can highlight the problems and she can listen to what you are referring to and correct them. Another idea is to discover the language used in authentic conversations. This will help her to understand how native speakers use the language in a particular context. She can later create conversations using this new knowledge. Finally, you could help her with her pronunciation and listening skills. This last skill is always difficult for non natives. There are many books available that develop listening or pronunciation skills. Your best bet is to look for them in:Oxford University PressPearsonCambridge University P! ressHeinle and Heinle Hope it helps....Show more
